Copacabana is a charming coastal village on the Central Coast of NSW nestled in between MacMasters and Avoca Beach, just over an hour drive from Sydney's North Shore.

A short stroll from Copacabana Shores is the gorgeous Copacabana Beach and the local village shops, where you can find the local surf club, shops and cafes to tantalise your tastebuds. When you are ready to explore further afield, Avoca Beach and Terrigal are just 5-10 mins north where there is an abundance of restaurants, cafes, retail shops, pubs and clubs on offer.

Getting There

From Sydney

• Head north on the Pacific Motorway (M1), which is the main freeway connecting Sydney to the Central Coast region.
• Take the Central Coast Hwy/A49 exit towards Gosford/Woy Woy/Terrigal.
• Continue onto Central Coast Hwy/A49 (signs for State Rte 83/Gosford/Woy Woy).
• Continue on Central Coast Hwy/A49 following signs to East Gosford and Terrigal.
• After 6.6km turn right into Avoca Drive at the lights.
• Continue on Avoca Drive for 6.5km. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Empire Bay Drive.
• At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto The Scenic Road.
• At the roundabout, continue straight onto Cullens Road.
• After 4km, Turn right onto Copacabana Drive.
• Turn right near the bottom of the hill to stay on Copacabana Drive. Copacabana Shores is on the left.

From North of the Central Coast

• Head south on the Pacific Motorway (M1).
• Exit onto Wyong Rd/B74 towards Wyong/Tuggerah.
• Merge onto Wyong Rd/B74.
• Continue on Wyong Rd/B74 for over 8km, travelling through several roundabouts. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Tumbi Rd.
• After 3km, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Tumbi Rd.
• After 5.6km, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Central Coast Hwy/The Entrance Rd/A49.
• After 4km, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Ocean View Drive.
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Terrigal Drive.
• Turn left onto Charles Kay Drive.
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Scenic Hwy.
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Avoca Drive.
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Cape Three Points Road. Continue onto Copacabana Drive.
• Turn right near the bottom of the hill to stay on Copacabana Drive. Destination will be on the left.
